Two Year Training in Constitutional Herbalism
Clinical Applications of Herbs, Essential Oils, and Homeopathy
A Six-Month Program Spanning Two Years
One Weekend (Friday-Saturday) October 2005-March 2006
Friday 10-4 Saturday 10-1

Clinical Year

Training is both an in-depth and hands-on learning in the clinical skills for recognizing, understanding and treating the biochemical and energetic causes of illness. This level class is advanced. I recommend that students first take an intro level course such as taught by Kate Gilday, Deb Soule, Pam Montgomery, or Rosemary Gladstar. After two years an examination and certificate of completion are available. Vermont College of Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont will give college credits for this two-year course.Scholarships available through VSAC available to Vermont residents Email HealthCalls for further information.


Topics for Clinical Year

  • Dysbiosis: role of parasites/candida/gut flora in chronic illness.
  • CFS & Immune Dysregulation: HIV/Cancer/Lupus/Blood and lymph cleaners.
  • EI/MCS & Detoxification: unraveling pollution.
  • Endocrine Imbalance: Chakras/stress/brain as endocrine gland.
  • Energy Resonance Testing: Locating points/selecting remedies.
  • Nervous System Balancing: ADHD, insomnia, depression.

Energetic Year

Energetic Year of the Training in Constitutional Herbalism delves into how to perceive the energetic patterns underlying disharmonies in all the organ systems. We will explore how beliefs such as "I am not enough" or emotions such as unresolved grief block the flow of life force energy and manifest as diseases. As healers, our responsibility is to restore the client to their connections with their true nature and destiny. This is constitutional healing.

  • The Five Elements: How to discern and treat by the Five elements.
  • Earth Element/Digestive System/Energy Production Pathways
  • Metal element/Lungs & Sinuses/Infection: mycoplasmas, etc.
  • Water element/Renal & Reproductive Systems/Minerals
  • Wood element/Hepatic System/Acetylation/Methylation Pathways
  • Fire element/Circulatory System/Cholesterol/Fatty Acids

Postgraduate Class in Constitutional Herbalism

The POSTGRADUATE classes offer additional topics on clinical and energetic issues for practitioners healing today's most challenging health issues.

  • Autism and learning problems
  • Miasms & lifelong patterns related to pregnancy & childbirth
  • Treating life-threatening and terminal illnesses
  • Healing with ritual: how we heal by deepening our relationship with earth and sky

Prerequisite: Completion of Two Year Training in Constitutional Herbalism or equivalent.
